In a letter sent by Captain MWBrown, Head of the International Security Office of the US Coast Guard for the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy Damian Gjiknuri states that “your country (Albania) has taken clear and effective measures for the continuous guarantee of security in the ports “.

The classification carried out by the US Coast Guard is considered very important for the ports and the Albanian naval space as it is an encouraging message that leads to increased interest of international shipping operators of freight, passengers and specifically cruise ship tourists to explore the territory of our country.
