The General Directorate of Taxation is conducting a training on capacity building in the framework of the fight against informality.
This training is organized in the framework of the cooperation between the General Directorate of Taxation and the Project Financial Services Volunteer Corps (FSVC) and supported by USAID. Experts from the Australian Tax Administration are assisting employees in “Capacity Building of the GDT on the Functioning of Prize Transfer and Assistance in the Campaign Against Informality”.
From June 25 to July 6, employees of the GDT and the Directorate of Big Taxpayers will be acquainted with the best international practices on the performance of the Prize Transfer as well as the steps that will have to be taken in the future in the organizational aspect and the handling of practical cases of controls.
Also, assistance will be provided in capacity building of tax inspectors in the fight against fiscal evasion, in taking long-term and long-term measures with a focus on tax evasion, as well as their implications in risk assessment, control and tax investigation.
The General Directorate of Taxation attaches particular importance to the development of administration capacities, increasing the level of knowledge and professionalism through international best practices.
