Tax investigation follows controls, objects are blocked in Durrës, Saranda, Ksamil and Borsh

Tax Investigation Structures are continuing verification checks for entities operating economic activities in the tourist areas in the country, with a view to the correct implementation of fiscal legislation.

During the presence of these structures in the field are found taxpayers who exercise unregistered activity or who do not issue a tax coupon for each sale.

From the examinations conducted by the Tax Investigation Central Region, cases were found, for which the following measures were taken:

 

  • For the “Adriatik 2” entity, located in Golem, Durres, penalties for not issuing the tax coupon for the second time and blocking the activity for 30 calendar days.
  • For the subject hotel “Kamomil” with location Golem, Durrës, penalty for not issuing the tax coupon for the second time and blocking of activity for 30 calendar days.
  • For the subject coffee shop “Favol” located in Tirana, penalties for not issuing a tax coupon for the second time and blocking of activity for 30 calendar days. 

While referring to the controls exercised by the Southern District Tax Investigation, the following measures were taken:

 

  • For the subject Dorjan Maze, with Borsh location, penalty for not issuing the tax coupon for the second time and blocking of activity for 30 calendar days.
  • For the subject Aleksandër Duka, Saranda, unregistered hotel in the tax authorities, blocking up to registration as a subject with VAT. 
  • For the subject Floreta Dura, located in Ksamil, unregistered hotel in the tax authorities, blocking up to registration as a subject with VAT.
  • For the subject Florika Feruli, located in Saranda, unregistered hotel in the tax authorities, blocking up to registration as a subject with VAT.
  • For the subject Spiro Llajo, based in Saranda, penalties for not issuing a tax coupon for the second time and blocking of activity for 30 calendar days.

The Directorate of Tax Investigation at the GDT draws the attention of taxpayers operating in tourist areas to respect legal obligations in order to ensure a positive performance of the summer season for all tourists, and to ensure fair competition.
