Many young Italian businessmen are choosing Albania as the destination country to invest and outsource business services. Most of these businesses are focused in the customer relations, finance, digital marketing, wine production and renewable energy fields.
On Tuesday, January 30rd, the Albanian Minister of State for Entrepreneurship, Sonila Qato, held a meeting with a group of young Italian investors and the head of “Confindustria Foggia” organization.
The Minister presented to the Italian investors the economic and tax facilities that Albania offers, as part of government’s incentives to boost foreign investments.
Italy has been Albania’s main trade partner since 1990. Nowadays, trade exchanges with Italy comprise 36.2% of the total, while the number of Italian-owned businesses in Albania has reached 600.
So far, the government has not yet presented a specific program for supporting young Albanian businessmen in growing their businesses in country and abroad.
