Was held today at the premises of Hotel Plaza Tirana, Business Forum “Albania – Romania” following the IX Session of th Joint Commission for Economic, Scientific and Technical Albania and Romania (JEC). In the framework of the strengthening of bilateral relations in this event were present important representatives of Albanian and Romanian institutions.
Speech of the participants of the forum was held by the Speaker of the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Albania – Ines Muçostepa, emphasizing mutual cooperation and building concrete bridges for economic-trade development between the two countries. Muçostepa underlined the good trade relations with Romania, which is evident from the existing Romanian companies in our country.
Deputy Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs – Mr.Etjen Xhafaj, Director of Foreign Direct Investment of AIDA – Mr. Genc Çeli, Deputy Minister for Finances and Economy – Albana Shkurta, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Environment, Business, Trade and Entrepreneurship, Gabriela Mihaela Voicilă, Parliamentary Representative of the Romanian Delegation- Mr. Remus Borza and Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce of Valcea- Dan Danom Dragomir.
Director of FDI, Mr. Genc Çeli, introduced the participants with the mission and role of the Albanian Investment Development Agency and the services AIDA offers. At the end of his speech, Mr. Çeli expressed his readiness and AIDA staff to help Romanian business.
After the inauguration and presentation of the panel, the forum continued with B2B meetings between Romanian and Albanian companies, who expressed their interest in cooperation, seeing closely the opportunities to invest in Albania.
