State Minister for Enterprise Protection, Sonila Qato today visited a factory with over 1100 employees that produces well-known German brands to inform them about the recent government’s decision to raising the minimum wage.
The minister said that “closely linked to well-known German brands, the administrator of this venture has managed to create a friendly and collaborative spirit with all staff, as part of a healthy and productive working culture.”
The minister appreciates the fact that 20% of the 200 large businesses are administered by women.
“Entrepreneurial women grow more and more each day by developing more powerful businesses where about 20% of the 200 largest businesses in Albania are administered by women,” said the minister.
“Also in the framework of the information campaign we have undertaken for every entrepreneur, we chose this fasoner, as a sector with a high number of employees to communicate and the recent decision of the Government to increase the minimum wage”, says Qato.
