7 programs in direct business support will be implemented by the government during 2019-2021, with impact on the country’s economic development.

The Ministry of Finance notes that promoting Albania as an investment destination through organizing and participating in international fairs and promotional road shows, after-care as well as effective strategic investment monitoring is one of the programs that target a wide range business.


Meanwhile, the successful launch of promotional activities for the promotion of foreign investments and “Made in Albania” products, aims to develop business activity and domestic production.

Funds from the Competitiveness Fund will financially support over 60 businesses in order to expand exports to the international market.

While further advancement in the field of technology and innovation through grants, it provides funding to 75 businesses specializing in the Innovation Fund.

Also, the Start-Up Fund will finance 60 businesses to promote the creation of new businesses in sectors with development potential.

But not least the handicraft business does not remain.

Supporting the craft sector and handicrafts sector in order to consolidate them in the market and increase the number of employees through the “Creative Business Support Fund”, where it is expected to benefit 85 small and medium-sized enterprises and intentionally Increasing competitiveness will fund 60 businesses operating in this sector.
